Social Crisis Research From The Perspective Of The Alienation Of Science And Technology

Science and technology is a weapon which used to learn and remake nature for human been, which expressed people's essential power. By relying on science and technology, people had created so many miracles. Modern society also unceasingly developed along with the development of the science and technology progress. Science and technology shows its power increasingly prominent, and in human's life people become extremely relying on the achievement created by science and technology. Gradually, science and technology has become a super power which can affect political, economic, and cultural. In the process of great development of science and technology, the alienation of science and technology is becoming more and more serious, even in extreme case it has threatened the survival of mankind. But in more cases, the embodiment of the negative effect brought by the alienation of science and technology reflected as the emergence of social crisis. Research focused on social crisis problem become a hot topic, especially in the transition state system, social crisis is more likely to appear.After the reform and opening up, along with the development of economy and science and technology, the domestic study of dissimilation of science and technology has become increasingly active, and people also more and more concerned the potential social crisis. So the academia began to achieve some research results, and lay on the results of this study. This paper draws on the contemporary studies of the concept and theory of the alienation of science and technology research, combing the concept of alienation of science and technology and the relevant theoretical research. This paper think that the human's behavior about science and technology deviate from the subject and purpose themselves, become a difficult and harness power, and turn to control and rule people. These special phenomenon, which is called alienation of science and technology. After sorting out this problem, the paper will introduce the related research of western scholars about science and technology ethics. The alienation of science and technology the social crisis caused by diverse performance, in terms of the research scope of this article, it mainly include the economic crisis, moral crisis and environmental crisis. The three aspects of crisis led to the comprehensive social crisis. Social crisis is rooted in human cognition which can be found root in the limitations of human cognition, the misconduct of science and technology and society of cognitive subject caused by myopia. And the social system root is summed up in the capitalist mode of production and the system problems of developing countries during the period of transition, the problem is especially obvious in the era of globalization. Social crisis roots deeply in conflict between instrumental rationality and value rationality in human's practice. The pell-mell development of instrumental rationality leads to one-sided pursuit of computability, predictability, and the actual effect, this way of thinking leads to the development of science and technology in situation of partial, narrow and rootless, then lost the most fundamental purpose and significance of science and technology, lead to the alienation of science and technology and social crisis. People should enhance self-awareness to understand human nature, encourage humans find themselves in the lost to avoid the emergence of alienation, and reconstruct the subject status of human value. Despite the serious social crisis which caused by the alienation of science and technology remains a sizeable problem, but for the future, science and technology as the first productive force of social status could not be eliminated, and how to understand and use science and technology as the main subject of today's ethics should be instituted to focus on.
