With the continuous progress and development of the Internet technology, people's mode of life has changed a lot. Especially the Internet finance platform, based on search engines, social networks, big data and cloud computing and other information technology, has a huge influence on the means of financing of people. With the rapid development of Internet finance, various kinds of development model of Internet finance emerge, the third-party payment platform and Peer-to-Peer lending platform are the most typical and prominent models. This paper firstly introduces the definition, the development status and profit model classification of the third-party payment and Peer-to-Peer lending platform; then, according to the profit model theory, the profit model elements of the two Internet finance platforms are presented in this paper; then, based on the elements above, the third-party payment platform selects two representative companies Alipay and Payease for analysis, this paper compares four typical Peer-to-Peer lending companies Ppdai, Renrendai, Lufax and Yixin.Relying on Taobao, the income of Alipay is more diversified, its problems are how to use precipitation funds legally and how to avoid customer churn without free policy, and the independent third-party payment platform Payease can be copied easily, it is necessary to segment the market, constantly open up new business, and provide a variety of service charges. In Peer-to-Peer lending industry, different from mostly pure platform model in foreign countries, our platforms are almost guarantee model and third-party guaranteeing model Lufax performs the best comprehensively, the main reason is the lack of supervision in our country, and there is no complete credit evaluation systems as those in developed countries like Europe and the United States. In view of the existing problems above, this paper proposes the recommendations for the third-party payment platform:further improvement of the laws and regulations, deepening market segments, providing more value-added services, and strengthening cooperation with the bank. Proposals for Peer-to-Peer lending platform:improvement the laws and regulatory system, perfecting personal credit system, strengthening self-discipline and supervision.
