The Analysis Of The Impact Of The Mergers And Aquisitions On The Market Value Management

In this paper, we will conduct a comprehensive evaluation on the performance of the management of the market value, so as to analyze the impact of mergers and acquisitions on market value management performance. The article will enrich the research of traditional finance on mergers and acquisitions' impact on the performance in the capital market analysis, namely from the traditional event study method and accounting research method is extended to evaluate the market value management. The innovation of this paper is independently established the systematical analysis method to evaluate the market value management performance using principal component regression model, according to a comprehensive review of the company, the process of merger and reorganization and their interactive relationships. Finally, the empirical research shows that, mergers and acquisitions behavior and the market value management performance have a significant positive correlation, moreover, the relative size of mergers and acquisitions and market value management performance also have a significant positive correlation. In sum, the paper shows that the behaviors of mergers and acquisitions can play a positive role in promoting the market value management of the listing corporations.
