| Ever since the year 2000, the financial market of china starts to open to foreign banks, and China’s domestic banks have been seeking foreign investors and partners, which makes the competition more intense. With the help of information technology, foreign banks had successfully started the reform of background centralized operation, and this kind of reform comes to Chinese banks’attention. By that time, domestic commercial banks’main business channel was branch network, but to ease the stress of counter employees, many banks set up to prepare the separation of foreground business and background business, which means those branch network covers customer service and marketing, and banks back office provides technical support. The project has been proven to be efficient by now, but to look closer into the depth and range of this kind of separation, we find it still needs improvements.China construction bank put forward the idea of operation system reform in 2006, set up the project of the separation of foreground and background in 2008, and built the comprehensive branch of branch network, teller, marketing based on this in 2014. CCB is one of the state-owned commercial banks that practice the separation nationwide, and also has the most centralized business system, its principles, methods, procedures and future development have great reference for other banks.The paper introduces the foreign and domestic history and background of the separation of foreground and background at first,then comes to the examples about the process of this project with domestic banks. Later on. it explains several definitions of CCB’s project, along with the workflow design and work position design in detail. By the analysis of the separation of branch network and back office, the background centralized business system and the level of concentration business of branch and back office, this paper fully explain this project and provide with rational outlook about the advantages of the separation project, which includes improvement of the ability of branch marketing, realization of economies of scale and decrease the operation cost, and better risk control.Finally, the paper comes up with some suggestions of the further implementation of this project based on personal practice, mainly in four parts: risk control, business development, production management and platform configuration, seeking better progress of the separation of foreground and background for state-owned commercial banks. |
