Dispositional hope is increasingly get attention as one of the important factors that affects employee's career development,yet the empirical research on its functioning in this domain is sparse,especially in the research which dispositional hope plays leading role and studying its main effect on enterprise staff of empirical research.But as the international competition is more and more fierce now,talent is a crucial factor to an enterprise's thriving development.Work-life balance and career adaptability both have relationship to staff's quiting intention and work performance.It will be very useful for an enterprise to retain talent,discover their potential skill,improve employee's work performance by improve the staff's career adaptability and the level of dispositional hope.This paper describes an investigation of how dispositional hope is related to work-life balance and whether the career adaptability and the different dimensions of itself mediate the effect of hope to work-life balance.Thus the author can detailed reveal the internal mechanism between despositional hope and work-life balance.This investigation was conducted samples of working professionals from different big cities of China,such as Beijing,Shanghai,Sichuan and Guangzhou etc and reviewed some a lot of research of despositional hope,career adaptability and life balance.Then the author gives her oppinion about the relationship between the three variables by the theoretical deduction.After using SPSS 20.0,Liseral and SmartPLS statistically analysises the data the author start to verifies ecah hypothesis and the outcome as these:(1)The three scales this article used have good reliablity and validity and they are suitable for the survy to our country residents.(2)Our country's residents' despositional hope level,career adapatability and work-life balance levels are at the average level basically.In the despositional hope variable,empolyees' pathways level is significantly higher than motivate level;there is a large difference in different individuals about work-life balance level;as to the career adaptability,it arrives to the international average level and in its different dimensions,career confidience level range NO.1,career curiosity No.2 and career attention is the last.(3)There are some significant difference in employees' dispositional hope,work-life balance and career adaptabiliy as to demographic factors.(4)Dispositional hope has positive influence on career adaptabiliy and work-life balance respectively;career adaptablity is also has positive effect to work-life balance.And career adaptablity can partly mediate the influence between despositional hope to work-life balance.(5)As to variables different dimensions,pathways has significant positive influence on all of the dimensions of career adaptability;motivate only has very significant influence on career concern,career curiosity and career confidence;significant influenct on career control;The influence Pathways on work-life balance and motivate on work-life balance is not significant;in the four dimensions of career adaptability,only career has significant affact on work-life balance.The innovation of this paper is the provement about Career adaptability partly mediates the effect of dispositional hope on Work-life balance,and the mediation takes place by the dimension of Career Concern.
