Last few years, with the rapid development of technology, the market system become much more perfect, the kinds of products become diversified and the update speed is accelerate.More and more products have perishable characteristics. This kind of products have sales time limit,if the product has not been sold in time, the value of salvage will be very low.Meanwhile, due to the increased chance of selection, consumer will be significantly sensitive to perceive risk. When the product inventory is lower than a threshold, the quality is relatively poor or the production date marked on the package is about to expire, consumers may choose not to purchase(for example, they may expect to have better choices in the future),then they may make balking decision, this will further lead the products can't be sold, the retailers will bear much more loss. Therefore, the product with perishability is the major difficulty to many retailers in the sales management currently on the basis of maximizing the profit,decision-makers should make reasonable ordering strategy and pricing strategy for perishable products is particularly important. In this thesis, the consumers balking behavior are considered to making ordering strategy and making dynamic pricing decisions for perishable goods is very rare on the basis of existing research.Having comprehensive application of game theory, stochastic dynamic optimization, economics subject, experiment and simulation theory,we explore the existing research method and theory, the main research work and achievements of this thesis are summarized as follows:(1)In order to analyze the problem of the retailer's ordering decision with the consumer balking behavior,For the phenomenon of customers balking decision,we use the parameters such as consumers balking threshold?sales rate and balking loss, characterizing the consumers balking behavior when purchasing perishable products, then we construct a robust Newsboy optimization model, the model solves difficult decision-making problem due to lack of stochastic demand distribution caused by order goods, obtain the retailer's optimal ordering strategy.Through the numerical simulation, analyzing the influence of consumers balking behavior on the retailer's ordering decisions. Then we verifies the model compared to the current literature, robustness is more significant. The research results provide a theoretical basis for retailers to understand the consumers' purchase behavior,it have significant impact on the expected profit and optimal order quantity.(2)The study of considering the consumer balking behavior when makingdynamic pricing problem for perishable products.Retailers are always in pursuit of maximizing the expected profit as the goal.We set the price approach for the perishable products in the case of single period and multi periods in sales. We use the parameters such as consumers balking penalty coefficient ? relative entropy, characterizing the consumers balking behavior when purchasing perishable products, using the stochastic robust optimization method to study the balking behavior to perishable products.Firstly,we study the single period robust pricing model, then we can find that the optimal price is reduced, but the inventory is increased, and the price is higher than that without considering the purchase behavior.Later,we extend the single period robust pricing model to multi period dynamic pricing. Finally,a numerical example is used to illustrate the robust optimal pricing model. It gives a new perspective analysis of perishable goods.
