The Study Of The Effect Of Labor Outflow On Soil And Water Conservation In Mountainous Area

Our country is in a critical period of economic transformation and upgrading, especially for the transformation and upgrading of rural employment structure and labor force structure, which requires attention and support from the whole society and government at all levels. With the advance of the urbanization process, a large number of rural labor have transferred, especially at the mountain areas where economic level is relatively backward, and the phenomenon of abandoning farmland remains widespread.Lvliang City is located in the Western Loess Hilly and gully region, with enclosed location conditions, fragile ecological environment, lacking of technology, capital and talents, the large number of rural population, which make the agricultural development of Lvliang City has been greatly restricted. Although rural labor outflow make the Lvliang Mountain’s environment bearing capacity alleviate to a certain extent, as for the mountainous area’s soil and water conservation also plays a role in strengthening, but a large number of farmers’outflow resulting in loss of rural labor, which has great negative effects of the work that strengthens soil and water conservation in rural areas.Taking the rural labor outflow in Lvliang City as its background, with the methods of literature research, survey analysis and empirical analysis, this thesis uses data from the field survey in the mountainous areas of Lvliang City, analyzes the current situation of labor outflow as well as water and soil conservation in Lvliang mountain areas, and then, studies the effect of labor outflow on soil and water conservation, subsequently,put forward ideas of strengthening soil and water conservation in Lvliang mountains. This thesis will change the status that little research work has been done for a large region, and will provide a new theoretical basis of strengthening soil and water conservation under the background of labor outflow in the Lvliang area.Moreover, this thesis will also provide profound practical and theoretical significance for promoting the development of new rural areas and the construction of ecological civilization in Lvliang city.
