Commercial banks have set up a channel for the demands and the supplies of the capital, which have played an intermediary role, and greatly promoted the free flow of capital. Thus the efficiency of the use of social funds?operation efficiency and the rational allocation of resources have been highly enhanced.In addition, commercial banks also have the functions of financial services?credit creation and economic regulation, and so on. The good or bad performance of a commercial bank is related to whether a country's banking industry can operate effectively and develop healthily, which is related to the realization and execution of economic policy. More importantly, it also reflects the operation of the national economy healthly.By studying the performance of listed commercial banks, the author not only explores and extends the theory of the performance of commercial banks in China, but also validates the existing theories of performance of commercial banks in China. It is also added? updated and improved the new situations and new problems in the development effectively.In this paper, the author sorts out and studies the performance evaluation methods of commercial banks both here and abroad.Taking the reality and characteristics of commercial banks in China, the performance evaluation system of commercial banks in China is designed and constructed.Taking the statistical software SPSS 20 as a tool, factor analysis method is selected to evaluate the performance of commercial banks by taking the data of A-share listed banks in 2015 as an example.Capital adequacy ratio?profitability? asset quality are the key indicators of impacting the business performance, and the capital adequacy ratio is the core indicators.The results of the model evaluation show that the state-owned banks rank first in the capital adequacy ratio. China Merchants Bank ranks the first among the joint-stock banks. Nanjing Bank ranks the first among the city commercial banks;The profitability of the banks is scattered. In the state-owned banks, ICBC's profitability has decreased significantly. China Merchants Bank ranks the first among the joint-stock banks;From the asset quality side, the ABC ranks the first among the stated-owned banks; Overall, performance of the state-owned banks generally front, China Merchants Bank in the first row among joint-stock banks. City commercial banks, Bank of Nanjing ranks first.At the last part of the article, the author makes recommendations to improve the performance of commercial banks. Including four aspects:building the good corporate governance structure?strengthening risk management and control capabilities?playing a supporting role in science and technology innovation and closely following the Internet development trend.
