Turmeric’s rhizome have plenty of diosgenin which plays an important role and is the basis of the starting materials and intermediates for the synthesis of various steroid hormone drug.Our country research and development on the use of diosgenin than 40 years.Although diosgenin extraction industry has been rapid development,but its comprehensive development and utilization rate is very low,and it causes the environment polluted seriously,and most of diosgenin enterprises processing technology is still in the rough stages.Thus,it is especislly important to research the developing strategy of small and medium diosgenin enterprise.This paper takes Wei Ze company for example,and use some relevant theories of strategic management and combined with Wei Ze company’s actual situation to analyze its internal and external environment in an objective way.This dissertation using PEST,Porter’s five forces model and SWOT analysis and other modern strategic tools to research the Wei ze company strategy and finally find a suitable development way — choose horizontal integration of backward integration developmental overall strategy to determine the direction of development of the enterprise,to ensure the healthy development of the Wei ze company.Actually,in order to achieve its strategy,firstly Wei Ze company should establish their own plantations,and continuously push forward the orders planting pattern of "company + plantingbases + farmers";secondly Wei Ze company must build their own industry strategic alliance;thirdly it will also speeds up its 41 acres of commercial land development;and finally Wei Ze company should strengthen the operation of capital to go public to expand financing channels.Of course,Wei Ze company wants its strategy implemented smoothly,safeguard measures are also essential.So Wei Ze company must do their best in all aspects of science and technology,human resource management,compensation design,corporate culture,building modern enterprise system and to lay a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the strategy.It gains Wei Ze company’s development strategy and its associated safeguards measures based on the Wei Ze company’s external and internal environment systems analysis,and the countermeasures and suggestions were also expected to provide industry with draw lessons from.
