| Optical bistability refers to when the light source is within the scope of a certain incident light into the nonlinear medium, an input light intensity to produce the output light intensity of the stability of the two, and the two output light intensity can occur through Optical signal control of mutual transformation. It is an important optical phenomenon in physical optics, and its occurrence has brought the huge impact for optical computing, optical storage, and other fields.In this paper, by using the nonlinear modulation characteristic of the fiber Bragg grating, which is a nonlinear bistable device modulator, we build the corresponding photoelectric feedback loop. Through modulation offset voltage, input intensity, the feedback loop of the amplifier gain, we achieve bistable operation and multiple fiber grating bistable operation respectively by using a single fiber Bragg grating. MATLAB software is used to the operation condition of numerical simulation and the graphics of the simulated and the results are discussed. Specific experimental data to record, image to save the experiment, we also analyze the bistable experiment data. Made of bistable characteristics of fiber Bragg grating sensor, can undertake many physical parameters monitoring(such as temperature, strain), can meet the demand of a variety of sensor measurement, and can greatly reduce the cost. As with optically controlled optical electronics play more advantage of it development is becoming more and more vigorous. |
