Self-elevating offshore platform rapidly becomes the main force because of the superior of structural performance and deep-water adaptive capacity, and low cost. However, platform often happened accident,causing great loss and damage for the world economy and the environment, because of harsh marine environment and some man-made factors. To solve the above problems, based on the jacking system of the Self-elevating offshore platform, make an intensive study of the object's structure characteristics and lifting process,the lifting control system of self- elevating platform is developed.Based on the combination of PROFIBUS, OPC, frequency control and PLC soft redundancy technologies, and combining the feature and control requires of the lifting control system of Self-elevating offshore platform, the scheme of control system is built. Then starting from the features and function, the hardware platform is built.The monitoring parameters of the system is analyzed. A detailed analysis of. principle and design concept for self-balancing module and gear set load balancing module is made. Making use of modularization programming method, the control program for lower computer is developed. Based on the fieldbus technology of Profibus-dp, the thesis finished the control of frequency converter by Communication mode. In order to improve the reliability of the system, taking advantage of software Redundancy, the program development of redundancy system is finished, and the switch function between main and standby systems is achieved.In consideration of a mass of data store, the thesis made use of SQL Server 2012 to develop database for system, meanwhile achieve access to the database by ADO technology. Then configuring OPC server in STEP7 and SIMATIC NET 2010 software and developing OPC client, the thesis realized the information exchange between upper and lower computers and solve the data source problem. At last, the thesis developed a application software for lifting control system of self-elevating offshore platform based on VB.NET, and realized the function of user management, process monitoring, failure warning and statistical analysis etc. Furth more, the experimental prototype system is set up and the control system is debugged...
