Magnetized plasma is formed from external biased magnetic field.Because of its special absorption and refraction properties for radar wave,it is helpful to study its broadband electromagnetic properties in defense and communication fields.Magnetized plasma is not only dispersive and lossy, but also anisotropic, especially in the presence of uncertainties. How to analyze these complex media efficiently and accurately is usually difficult. The time-domain integral equation method plays an important role in solving such problems. In this paper, the high-order Nystrom method of time-domain volume integral equation is used to analyze the transient electromagnetic scattering characteristics of magnetized plasma and uncertain magnetized plasma.Firstly, the equivalent dielectric constant tensor of the magnetized plasma is established for analyzing the transient electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the magnetized plasma. The high-order Nystrom of time-domain volume integral equation for analyzing the transient electromagnetic scattering characteristic of the magnetized plasma is introduced here. The theory and formula with arbitrary direction external biased magnetic field are derived emphatically,as well as processing time-domain convolution.Time domain fast calculation technique-the paralleled plane wave time-domain(PWTD)algorithm are adopted here.Secondly,a high order Nystrom method combined with the polynomial chaotic expansion in marching-on-in-time scheme is proposed to deal with the stochastic electromagnetic scattering of magnetized plasmas. The stochastic Galerkin time-domain volume integral equation(SG-TD-VIE)method for random magnetized plasmas in one-dimensional random variables and two-dimensional random variables are studied.Compared with the traditional Monte Carlo method, the transient electromagnetic scattering characteristic of random medium can be obtained more efficiently using the proposed method.
