High Resolution Imaging Method And System Study Of Human Tissue Polarization Parameters

Optical polarization parameter imaging technology is different from the traditional optical imaging,which extracts the polarization parameters by inverting several groups of polarized light intensity images to form images.The images reflect the structure and opticalinformation of the measured medium so that it has the potential of increasing the imaging resolution.In recent years,a large number of applied researches were adopted in the field of biomedical science,astronomy,atmospheric remote sensing,materials science and other fields,and achieved remarkable results.Based on the fundamental theory of polarization parameter imaging,the expressions of extinction angle,phase delay,Stokes Vectors,Jones matrix element,Muller matrix element and Mueller matrix element decomposition parameter are deduced.And through Matlab to achieve the parameters of the algorithm inversion.And the automatic measurement system of polarization parameter imaging is designed and realized by related hardware building and software programming.A simple method for calibrating the fast axis of the wave plate is proposed based on the system's automatic modulation module.The reason for setting the angle between the fast axis of the waveplate and the direction of the optical axis of the analyzer is explained.After measuring the biological characteristics of human colorectal cancer tissue by experiments,we find that the resolution of Jones matrix meta-parameter imaging is higher than that of traditional optical imaging,and the Mueller matrix element and Mueller matrix parameter decomposition have a good ability to distinguish normal cell and disease cell,and assist the doctor diagnosed,with a certain clinical value.
