With the improvement of multiple wave,multi-component seismic exploration technology and the continuous development of geophysical science, the demand for the separation of multiple components of the wave field and the accuracy and reliability of the exploration results is getting higher and higher in seismic data analysis. At present the Radon transform has wide application to the field of exploration seismology, such as the wave field simulation, multiple attenuation, velocity analysis, denoising, plane wave decomposition, migration imaging, seismic inversion. In this thesis, the Radon transform is used for the separation of longitudinal and transverse multiple wave components and seismic inversion. This thesis studies the application of Radon transform to seismic data analysis.Firstly, according to fundamental principle of the Radon transform we analyze the method and technology of the separation of compressional wave and shear wave by Radon transform. Then, combining the property of Radon transform with the idea of Hu moment invariants,a new Radon invariant moment(RTMs)is constructed and applied to seismic inversion,.By Radon transform this thesis completes the separation of p-wave and s-wave in the full wave field. After separation the wave field information is becoming clearer. The new inversion objective function is constructed on the basis of RTMs,which reflects the inversion result's global feature.Analysis of inversion results show that it is feasible and has good theoretical significance and application value for seismic data analysis.
