Condensate gas reservoir is a kind of extremely valuable oil and gas resources, have been found and development at home and abroad. Currently the world has found a large number of condensate gas reservoirs, according to statistics in the world range of more than 1×1012m3 geological reserves of gas fields, condensate gas field occupied ratio reached 68%, mainly distributed in the United States, Russia, Australia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Southeast Asia and other regions. China has developed into Banqiao, Kekeya, Dazhangtuo, Yaha condensate gas reservoir, etc. In recent years, a large number of condensate gas reservoirs have been found in the eastern and western regions of China, especially in the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang.Condensate gas reservoir is a kind of special and common gas reservoir. Its particularity is different from conventional gas reservoir and more different form reservoir, its mining technology is much more complex than the general gas reservoir and oil reservoir; the common expression is can be found all over the world, in our country especially in Tarim Oilfield, most of the gas reservoir belongs to condensate gas reservoir. This kind of gas reservoir in the original underground conditions normally gaseous, but when put into development, with the change of temperature and pressure, there will be a liquid condensate, the liquid will adhere to the reservoir rocks and is difficult to be produced, which leads to the loss of condensate oil of high value. In this paper, investigated and surveyed a large number of domestic and foreign research literature on condensate gas reservoir recovery ratio and recoverable reserves, and has carried on the analysis and summary, combined with the Tarim Kekeya X72 condensate gas reservoir geological features and mining methods, from the following aspects of research:(1) Collected and analyzed Kekeya X72 condensate gas reservoir related geological information, basic data, production data, analyzed and summarized the geological characteristics and development status.(2) Surveyed the research literature on condensate gas reservoir recovery, summarized the analogy method, empirical formula method, pressure drop method, analytical method a total of four types of methods. Through the calculation, did the contrast analysis of the merits and drawbacks of each method.(3) Combined with X72 condensate gas reservoir geological characteristics and development mode, select the material balance method, production decline method, dynamic law of diminishing, the attenuation curve method, water flooding characteristic curve and pressure buildup method the six kinds of recoverable reserve calculation method, and carried out the example calculation.(4) In order to more easily apply HCZ model and Hubbert model to the condensate gas reservoir recoverable reserve calculation, the equations of the two models are further derived. After entered the stage of decline, the natural gas and condensate oil were used as independent objects to study, the calculation of recoverable reserves were calculated by using the two models respectively, and the comparative analysis was carried out.(5) Finally, by contrast, analyzed the merits and drawbacks and the applicability of each calculation methods, and summed up calculation method for X72 condensate gas reservoirs. This paper has a certain guiding significance and practical value for the calculation of recoverable reserves of the same type condensate gas reservoirs.
