Using vinyl monomers synthesizes take dipolymerization and ternary polymerization, a vinyl polymer viscosity reducer with the chain transfer agent and initiator.This paper mainly researched the selection of reaction equipment,aggregation,the type and ratio of monomer,the temperature and time of reaction,the type and amount of initiator and chain transfer agent,solid/liquid ratio,particle size analysis and thermogravimetric analysis and confirmed the product's temperature resistance.It has determined the process of synthesis formulation finally,has characterized rheological properties of the product,when it is added in fresh water slurry, the polymer slurry and aggravated pulp at room temperature and in fresh water slurry and aggravated pulp after high temperature aging.It has evaluated the capability of the product's anti-calcium and anti-magnesium,its cloud point salinity and the reduced rate of relative expansion. Take the production carry on industrialize test,evaluation of compatibility of drilling fluid in the field,choose a deep well of west Sichuan to test the product,meet the requirements of the field of viscosity reduction.In this paper,a high temperature and high concentration salt viscosity reducing agent is developed, can be used at 200?,resist salt to 110g/L.Good compatibility of the scene, have effect viscosity reducing,can be used in the field of water based drilling fluid.
