Analysis Of The Situation And Resource Utilization Plan Of Kitchen Waste In Jiangmen City

With the development of economy and society, living standards and dietary structure of people changed greatly. In the past 20 years, seriously pollution had been caused by the rapid growth of discharge of kitchen waste. Therefore, increasing attention have been paid on the kitchen waste from local governments to the national government in recent years. As one of the coastal developed cities, the city of Jiangmen is also facing the need to control the pollution causing by kitchen waste,which brings a great challenge to the administrators of city.On the base of consulting a large number of documents and investigating the status of disposal and management for kitchen waste in Jiangmen city, the paper focused on understanding generation, transportation and disposal of kitchen waste,analyzing the status of management level, proposing the ideas of standardizing the management of kitchen waste via the method of constructing waste disposal facilities,improving garbage collector system and formulating relevant regulations for the management of kitchen waste in Jiangmen city.Through comparatively analyzing the several processes of kitchen waste which were widely used in domestic, such as fertilizer, feed processing, energy transform technology and microbial processing, the paper recommended the project of anaerobic fermentation biogas technology, combining with biodiesel and composting technologies of fermentation liquid on the base of contrasting indicators of process principles, final products, technical reliability, harmless level, reduction amount,investment, covering area and the applicative degree of products.At the same time, the paper suggested the method of combining treatment facilities of kitchen waste biogas and Landfill gas utilization on the base of the successful experience of the kitchen waste disposal project in Berne, Switzerland,combined with the existing planning and construction of municipal environmental projects in Jiangmen City. A comprehensive analysis of technical and economic feasibility for the combining program of kitchen waste had been discussed in thepaper.After adopting the method of combining treatment facilities of kitchen waste biogas and Landfill gas utilization, disposal costs of kitchen waste could decreased from 240 to 106 CNY/per ton, which greatly improved the economic effect of kitchen waste comprehensive treatment of the project. The comprehensive treatment combining with Landfill gas utilization have lots of advantages, including sharing resource, relatively concentrating similar facilities, reducing the difficulty of choosing project sites, as far as possible avoiding duplication of investment, reducing idle facilities and enhancing economical effect of the project.Finally, the study proposed to establish a relatively independent collection,transportation and disposal systems of kitchen waste as well as fees paid processing system, so as to promote standardized management and resources processing for the kitchen waste in the city.
