With the development of economy in recent years, air pollution is increasingly serious in China, especially in East China area, the haze occurred most frequently area. A comprehensive understanding of regional atmospheric aerosol physical and optical properties and sources is an important significance for the control of air pollution, for atmospheric aerosol is the main source of air pollutants. The composition of the atmosphere in Mount Tai can represent the atmosphere atmospheric background in East China, because Mount Tai is located in Shandong, a China's eastern province, with high altitude. The black carbon aerosol mass concentration and three kind particle sizes of aerosol mass concentration, aerosol scattering coefficient and surface meteorological data observed on Mount Tai top during June 2010 to March 2012 were used in this study to calculable aerosol absorption coefficient of the observation period, and analyzed the hourly variation, diurnal variation, seasonal variation of black carbon aerosol mass concentration, absorption coefficient and scattering coefficient in Mount Tai area. The frequency distribution of the absorption coefficient and scattering coefficient were counted to analyzed the correlation between PM10, PM2.5, PM1 three particle aerosol particles scattering coefficients respectively, and effect of different weather conditions ?relative humidity, wind direction and speed? on the absorption and scattering coefficients. The results of the analysis and research results at home and abroad were compared, an combined with the MOD08 and MOD14 satellite remote sensing data to study the Mount Tai transport air mass trajectory with backward trajectory analysis software. The similarities and differences of atmospheric aerosol sources between Taian and Mount Tai were explored, and Mount Tai track conditions during the straw burning high time was analyzed. Finally, several air pollution control recommendations were made according to the aerosol distribution and aerosol characteristics in Mount Tai and the surrounding areas. The results showed that:In Mount Tai area,880nm band of black carbon aerosol average value is 2.23 g/m3, the average absorption coefficient is 20.68Mm-1, the the average value of scattering coefficient is 256.10 Mm-1. It is similar with observations value in Zhejiang Linan, below the observational results of Beijing, Wuqing, Xinken, Jinan and South Korea, higher than the value of the observations of the Shangdianzi, Heju, Atlanta, Spain, Japan, and far higher than the Mountain HuangShan Guangming top station results. The absorption and scattering coefficients in Mount Tai has a significantly different diurnal variation and unimodal distribution pattern, at the same time has a significant seasonal variation, caused by weather conditions, boundary layer height, anthropogenic emissions of heavily polluting surrounding area and long-distance transmission. Relative humidity and wind speed have an important effect on the absorption coefficient and scattering coefficient, and the scattering coefficient has a good correlation with the three kinds of particle size aerosol. Mount Tai Area air mass trajectory is divided into seven categories, and the air pollution comes mainly from Anhui, Henan, Jiangsu and other surrounding areas and long distance transportation, while Mount Tai has the similar air mass transport situation with Taian. Based on these conclusions, it is suggested that pollution prevention policy establishment and Mount Tai scenic tourism management should be attached greater importance, the straw disposal should be changed, to improve regional air quality.
