The fire whatever city fire or wild fire happens frequently all over the world.The firefighting protective clothing is the most protective equipment of firefighters who fight in the fire.The firefighting protective clothing of thermal protection performance and comfort performance do not only affect the efficiency of working,but also make firefighter be in danger.So the evaluation of firefighting protective clothing performance of thermal protection and comfort is very important.Nowadays,most of evaluations of firefighting protective clothing performance of thermal protection are in a steady environment,it does not simulate the dynamic process which firefighter changes the environment from 'ordinary' to 'firefighting' state when firefighter receive the call 119.This paper investigated the firefighting protective clothing of thermal protection performance and comfort performance under dynamic conditions,investigating the core temperature of firefighter,skin temperature,inner liner temperature,outer shell temperature variation trends when the firefighter go into a fire.This study developed a new index core temperature changing rate and a novel test procedure based on measurements on the sweating thermal manikin-Walter system which are used to quantify and measure the thermal protection performance by building a experiment platform.In this study I also explore the influence factors of the firefighting protective clothing of thermal protection performance and evaluate the thermal protection performance and comfort performance subjectively and objectively under dynamic conditions.Firstly,I build two experimental facilities,insulation heater cover and radiative heat source device,which are made up of experiment platform with climatic chamber as sweating thermal manikin system.This study measured the thermal resistance,moisture vapor resistance,air permeability,moisture permeability,thickness,weight of each firefighting protective clothing.The result shows that the core temperature changing rate of F2 firefighting protective clothing is the smallest,the thermal protection performance is the greatest.The comfort performance of F2 firefighting protective clothing is also the best.It also demonstrate that there is a linear relationship between the thermal protection performance and thermal resistance,moisture vapor resistance,air permeability,moisture permeability,specially the larger thermal resistance,the better the thermal protection performance of firefighting protective clothing.Finally,evaluation of the thermal protection performance and comfort performance of firefighting protective clothing through subjective wearer trials was conducted.The results show that the thermal protection performance and comfort performance of F2 firefighting protective clothing is the greatest,F1 firefighting protective clothing is greater,F3 firefighting protective clothing is the worst.The results are in compliance with the objective evaluation of the thermal protection performance and comfort performance under dynamic conditions.
