| In the process of oil recovery,a large amount of oily waste water is generated correspondingly which brings a lot of difficulties to the waste water treatment.Although the traditional cationic water clarifiers performs well and have a quick effect,it will generate a lot viscous sludge in the treatmen which can makes the equipment and pipelines blocked easily.It has found that using nonionic block polyether to deal with this kind of oily wastewater can not only avoid the generation of oil sludge but also remove the oil in water efficiently through previous studies.In this paper,a series of block polyether water calrifiers with different molecular structure were synthesized by using different kinds of starting agents.The law of polymerization reaction was summarized which can provide a reference for further industrial production.The interfacial properties and the oil removal rate of the water clarifiers were investigated,then the relationship between molecular structure,interfacial properties and flocculation performance was found.In this paper,a series of water clarifier were synthesized by using some kinds of starting agents such as N,N-Dimethylethanolamine,sorbitol,nonylpheno,diethylene glycol,and ethylene oxide,propylene oxide as the comonomer.The reaction rate and the hydroxyl value of each stage of polymerization were investigated under the conditions of different kinds of starting agents and inventory ratio between starting agents and reactive monomer.The result shows that the starting agent has a great influence on the reaction rate and hydroxyl value at the first stage.While using the diol as starting agent,the reaction rate of the first stage reaches 0.069 min-1.The hydroxyl value of the product is 18.40 mgKOH/g.Wihle using diethylene glycol as the starting agent,when the M0:MEO increase froml:9 to 1:39,the reaction rate decrease from 0.033 min-1 to 0.020 min-1,the hydroxyl value decrease from 30.93 mgKOH/g to 17.79 mgKOH/g.While the M0:MEO beyond 1:39,the variation range of the reaction rate and hydroxyl value tend to be stable.The interfacial intension,interfacial dilatational modulus and adsorption quality of water clarifiers on the oil-water interface were determined under the conditions of different kinds of starting agents and inventory ratio between starting agents and reactive monomer in this paper.The result shows that different starting agents have less influence on the critical micelle concentration but have much influence on the interfacial intension,interfacial dilatational modulus and adsorption quality.The diol has the highest reaction activity among all the starting agents.While the concentration of water clarifier is 300 mg/L,the interfacial intension of it is 0.69 mN/m,the interfacial dilatational modulus of it is 7.70 mN/m,the adsorption quality of it is 11.45 ng/mm2.Wihle using dihydric alcohol as starting agents,with the increase of M0:MEO,the interfacial intension and interfacial dilatational modulus of water clarifiers decrease at first.When the M0:MEO mass ratio reaches 1:39,it gets the lowest interfacial intension(0.69mN/m),lowest interfacial dilatational modulus(7.70 mN/m),and highest adsorption quality(11.45 ng/mm2).As the M0:MEO mass ratio continues to increase,the interfacial intension and the interfacial dilatational modulus of water clarifiers start to increase.With the increase of MEO:MPO,the interfacial activity of block polyether also increased.When the MEO:MPO increase from 1:1 to 1:2,the interfacial intension decrease from 1.62 mN/m to 0.69 mN/m,the interfacial dilatational modulus decrease from 16.79 mN/m to 7.7 mN/m,the quality of adsorption layer increase from 10.59 ng/mm2 to 11.46 ng/mm2.The oil removal rate of the water clarifiers were determined by using the waste water of the SZ36-1 platform.The relationship between the molecular structure,interfacial properties and flocculation property of the block polyether was found.It shows that with the decline of interfacial intension and interfacial dilatational modulus,the quality of adsorption layer increased,and the oil removal rate also increased.Water clarifiers synthesized by using dihydric alcohol as starting agents tend to get an higher oil removal rate.When the concentration of water clarifier is 300 mg/L,the oil removal rate of these water clarifiers ranges from 68.3%to 88.4%.When the M0:MEO is 1:39,the oil removal rate reaches its highest level(88.4%). |
