The liquid crystal elastomer can be performed such as stretching,bending,crawling,rotating motion in the light of a specific wavelength or heating conditions,and can be made into a variety of flexible intelligent devices,has been widely used in the field of artificial muscle,micro machinery etc.Application of liquid crystal elastomers in environmental monitoring in micro pump is rarely reported,the traditional light driven liquid crystal elastomer with ultraviolet light and infrared light drive,we prepared liquid crystal elastomer film doped with silver nanoparticles were prepared by surface plasmon resonance of silver nanoparticles(SPR),visible light absorption range of specific wavelengths of light,which can the effective use of solar energy,to convert light energy into heat,heat energy is converted into mechanical energy,liquid crystal elastomer visible light driven,using liquid crystal elastomer doped silver nanoparticles to design a micro pump application in the field of environmental monitoring.First of all,the synthesis of liquid crystal cell 2,5-(methanoyl-4-butoxybenzene)(MBB)and crosslinking agent 1,4 on the eleven phenyl olefins(11UB),using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(1H-NMR)analysis of the chemical structure of the liquid crystal cell synthesis.In order to reduce the thermal shrinkage temperature of LCE films,prepared by using MBB as the main mesogenic unit and a small amount of short chain molecules 4-methoxy-1-butene oxycarbonyl by two step crosslinking method(MOCH3)of the liquid crystal elastomer film(MOCH3-LCE film),by polarizing optical microscopy(POM)to observe the orientation of MOCH3-LCE films,in the polarization angle changes every 90 degrees after the MOCH3-LCE film has periodic brightness changes,indicating that MOCH3-LCE film prepared with nematic phase structure;differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)phase transition temperature of MOCH3-LCE film prepared by the analysis of the phase transition temperature of MOCH3-LCE film decreased from 78? to 54?;heat driven analysis the test results indicated that the MOCH3-LCE film reached the maximum contraction at 55?,short chain molecules of MOCH3 doped a certain proportion of the liquid crystal elastomers are more likely to be driven at low temperature.In order to achieve visible light driven by MOCH3-LCE film,silver nanoparticles were doped into MOCH3-LCE films by immersion method,and the mass ratio of 0.04%,0.10%and 0.20%MOCH3-LCE(Ag/MOCH3-LCE)films were prepared.UV Vis spectroscopy(U-Vis)was Lused to analyze the absorption and distribLution of silver nanoparticles in different media.The absorption peak of Ag/MOCH3-LCE films was about 430nm.Electron scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and electron transmission electron microscopy(TEM)showed that the particle size of silver nanoparticles was about 20nm,and the silver nanoparticles were uniformly distributed on the Ag/MOCH3-LCE film.Through the machine to test the mechanical properties of the Ag/MOCH3-LCE film micro electronic universal testing control,Ag/MOCH3-LCE membrane at 150 thousand lux under the light intensity of 50 seconds to reach the maximum shrinkage,shrinkage rate is 29%,of which Ag/MOCH3-LCE films doped with a mass ratio of 0.04%in 30 degrees and 60 degrees under the maximum force were increased by 23%and 50%.The above results show that the Ag/MOCH3-LCE film has a prominent surface plasmon resonance effect under visible light,and has a good effect of one-way contraction.The mechanical properties of Ag/MOCH3-LCE film have been greatly improved.Finally,according to the Ag/MOCH3-LCE film preparation,put forward a kind of design idea is applied to environmental monitoring micro pump,the film was prepared by Ag/MOCH3-LCE as micro pump membrane pump,in the visible light driven membrane contraction,negative pressure is formed in the pump cylinder can provide power for the transport of fluids,the future application of Ag/MOCH3-LCE film in the field of environmental monitoring of micro pump has a very good prospect.
