Preparation Of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural And Its Derivatives Based On Biomass Catalysis | | Posted on:2018-07-31 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Q H Wang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2351330515994603 | Subject:Chemical engineering | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | With the fossil fuel resource decreasing and the increasingly serious pollution caused by fossil fuel combustion,looking for green renewable resources to replace fossil resources has become the focus of attention.Biomass is a kind of rich,low pollution and important renewable energy sources.And the preparation of new platform compounds from biomass to replace fossil resource products has aroused more and more attention.5-hydroxymethyfurfural(5-HMF)obtained from renewable biomass resources is regarded as a value-added platform chemical,which can be used to produce very useful furan derivatives such as 2,5-Furandicarboxylic acid(FDCA)and 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furancarboxylicacid(HMFCA).In the study,FDCA was used as a green catalyst to catalyze biomass conversion into 5-HMF in ionic liquids(ILs).The optimum reaction condition was confirmed by investigating the reaction temperature and time,and 91.7%yield of 5-HMF was obtained from fructose at 100℃ for 4h.FDCA also can well catalyze glucose conversion into 5-HMF in ILs,glucose conversion and 5-HMF yield can be simultaneously increased by the introduction of ZnCl2 and LiCl as co-catalysts.The strong interaction between[Emim]Br and FDCA played a key role on biomass dehydration into 5-HMF.Most importantly;FDCA increased the selectivity of 5-HMF compared with the conventional catalyst.A series of nanoscale metal oxides were synthesized inclued ZnO,CuO,SnO2,Fe3O4,Fe2O3 and Co3O4.The prepared metal oxides were characterizated by FT-IR、XRD and TEM.The oxidation path of 5-HMF was investigated by using metal oxides as catalyst hydrogen peroxide as oxidant.The poducts were analyzed by HPLC,and it revealed the main product of 5-HMF is FDCA,HMFCA and DHMF.In order to further improve the yield of HMFCA and FDCA,the magnetic nano-catalyst,Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2-Au,was prepared.The prepared catalyst was characterizated by FT-IR、XRD and TEM.It was found that the amount of H2O2 directly affected the yield of HMFCA and FDCA.The yields of HMFCA and FDCA were up to 90.7%and 80.4%by adjusting the amount of H2O2. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Biomass, 5-Hydroxymethyfurfural, Ionic liquids, Catalytic oxidation, 2,5-Furandicarboxylic acid | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
