Mixed ion electronic ceramic(MIEC)hollow fibre membrane was concerned widely because of its low energy consumption,easy installation and 100%selectivity for oxygen,but the inherent brittleness of ceramic hollow fiber membrane and small diameter,wall thickness of membrane resulted in the low mechanical strength,and difficult to seal and not easy to components at high temperatures,these limits its large-scale application.The paper launched a series of research to solve these problems.We chose La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-?(LSCF)hollow fiber membrane as the research object and used perovskite materials as a binder to cluster LSCF membrane,then explored the method for the influence of the oxygen permeability of membrane and mechanical strength,and did some research about the high temperature sealing of LSCF membrane bundle.LSCF is a typical MIEC membrane materials,so we selected LSCF membrane to cluster,this chapter selected LSCF perovskite materials as the binder in order to reach better cluster effect,then did a series of characterization of the LSCF hollow fiber membrane bundle and oxygen permeability test,the experimental results show that using perovskite materials with porous structure of hollow fiber membrane cluster not only can improve the mechanical strength of the membrane bundle but also promote the surface of the membrane of exchange dynamics,thus increasing the oxygen permeation rate.The mechanical strength of single membrane of 112.68 MPa up to 10-membrane bundle of 150.5 MPa,single membrane oxygen permeability of 0.42 mL min-1 cm-2 to 10 root membrane bundle of oxygen permeability of 0.61 mL min-1 cm-2,the best porosity range of membrane bundle is between 0.26 to 0.38,and low porosity can cause resistance to oxygen permeability of membrane beam.At the same time hollow fiber membrane bundle in oxygen permeability showed good stability.LSCF material shows high stability but the oxygen permeability is low,and Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.4Fe0.6O3-?(BSCF)materials shows high oxygen permeability is more advantageous to the surface oxygen exchange reaction kinetics,so we chose BSCF perovskite materials as a binder for cluster LSCF membrane.Single membrane oxygen permeability of 0.42 mL min-1 cm-2 to 10-fibre bundle of 0.66 mL min-1 cm-2,and mechanical strength increased from 112.68 MPa to 139.6 MPa,BSCF powder was used as binder for hollow fiber membrane cluster of oxygen permeation flux is higher than that of LSCF powder binder,and in the hollow fiber membrane bundle in oxygen permeability also showed good stability.We tested the highest working temperature a variety of sealant,and selected HBC-1096 glue as sealing material with LSCF powder mixture sealants according to certain proportion.Before the oxygen permeation test on LSCF hollow fiber membrane bundle,we used the preparation of sealant to seal LSCF membrane beam combined with silver pulp as a protective layer of the ceramic hollow fiber membrane bundle to prevent LSCF membrane react with the sealant,that will affect the mechanical strength and oxygen transmission performance.It turned out that when the silver paste as sealing layer of four LSCF hollow beam membrane,the mechanical strength of membrane bundle increased from the original 89.7 MPa to 135.6 MPa.
