Both graphene and GO are two-dimensional honeycomb lattice materials composed of single-layer carbon atoms with sp2 hybridization and compact packing.As a special structure of carbon,it has large specific surface area,no drug resistance,biocompatibility and other characteristics,in the field of medical biology has aroused great concern.In recent years,significant progresses have been made in the preparation,characterization and potential applications of graphene.Ammonium salt as a well-known material has been very good application in the field of antibacterial.1-hydroxymethyl-5,5-dimethylhydantoin/graphene oxide(1-MDMH/GO)nanomaterials were prepared by graft-modified graphene oxide(GO).It has a long-term anti-bacterial property of graphene and also has antimicrobial broad spectrum of ammonium salt.The microstructures and properties of 1-MDMH/GO nanomaterials were characterized by FTIR,XRD,XPS,SEM,TEM,AFM,TG and Raman.The antimicrobial properties of GO and 1-MDMH/GO were examined by plate counting and inhibition zone experiments using the simulated system of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli respectively.The inhibitory rate of GO on Staphylococcus aureus was 78.3%and 69.3%on Escherichia coli.Compared with GO,under the same condition compared with GO which is enhanced by 25.0%and 33.3%,respectively.The cell membrane was severely damaged by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)after treatment with 1-MDMH/GO nanomaterials.The porous nanofibers were prepared by changing the solvent system,the spinning parameters and the dosage of 1-MDMH/GO.The results show that the fiber properties are the best under the optimum spinning conditions when the mass ratio of mixed solvent is 4:1,the spinning voltage is 20 KV,the concentration of polyacrylonitrile is 15%,the accepting distance is 15 cm and the fiber loading 1-MDMH/GO is 15%.The antimicrobial rate of Staphylococcus aureus reached 87.5%,and the inhibition rate to E.coli reached 81.6%.The results show that the nanocomposite fiber has a good antibacterial application prospect.
