Research On Rapid Drilling Technology Of Paleozoic Strata In Yubei Area

Yubei area of Tarim Basin the rate of penetration in Paleozoic formation is low:long drilling cycle severely restricted the process of exploration and development of this region.On the basis of the existing drilling data,this paper aims to conduct research on the rock properties,drill bits,drilling parameters and drilling ways of Paleozoic formation,form a rapid drilling technology of Paleozoic formation,and carry out a field testing.In this paper,the content of studies completed and the results obtained are:(1)On the basis of well logging data,the drillablity profile of Paleozoic formation and other rock mechanics parameters is established,which provides a theoretical basis for the optimizing the drill bit;(2)Combined with practical application,each interval optimal drilling method is obtained by evaluating of different drilling ways;(3)With respect to the manner of each different section,drilling bit usage is evaluated,and the selection of bits is optimized in each different section using analytic hierarchy process;(4)Drilling parameters in Paleozoic formation are optimized on the base of analysis the parameters sensitivity in each section;(5)Field tests are carried out to improve the rate of penetration of Paleozoic formation,which meets the requirements of ROP in the block.
