Study On The Reaction Of N-sulfonyl Hydrazide With Difluorocarbene

Objective:Investigate the coupling reaction with unstable diazo compounds;Researchadifluoromethy-lationreactionof difiuoromethylene phosphobetaine?Ph₃P⁺CF₂CO₂^-,PDFA?provided difluorocarbenewith N-arylsulfonylhydrazones,and its reaction mechanisms.Methods:Research on the difluoromethy-lation reactions of difluorocarbene of difiuoromethylene phosphobetaine?Ph₃P⁺CF₂CO₂^-,PDFA?with unstable diazo compounds of N-arylsulfonylhydrazones in the presence of base.Conclusion:This work represents an efficient and mild protocol for the synthesis of difiuoromethyl aryl sulfones and for the modification of the structure,difiuoromethyl phenyl sulfone?PhSO₂CF₂H?.We obtained 13compounds containing CF₂H with high yield up to 91%.We have described the difiuoromethylation of N-arylsulfonyl hydrazones with difiuorocarbene generated from difiuoromethylene phosphobetaine to give various difiuoromethyl aryl sulfones in moderate to good yields.we propose the reaction mechanism of the reaction.
