In the paper,the glass hollow fiber membrane precursor was prepared.The effect of calcination temperature,acid etching time on the structure was studied.The interception of dye wastewater of glass hollow fiber membrane was also researched.Based on our previous research,the glass particles with different diameter has more affected on the microstructure and the properties of precursor membrane.In order to obtain precursor membrane with the asymmetric pore structure,the casting solution was prepared using three kinds of glass powder with different average diameter.Furtherly,the precursor membranes were prepared using phase-inversion method.The SEM photos showed that the finger-like voids on the inner layer of the precursor were more evident with the smaller the size of the glass powder.The pure water flux of precursor membrane diminished from 1310 to 32L·m-2·h-1·bar-1 when the average diameter of glass powder decreased from 37?m to 8?m.Secondly,soda-boron-silica system glass with given component was melted and ball-milled.As a result,the glass powder was obtained.The DMAC and PVDF were applied as solvent and binder,respectively.The glass hollow fiber membrane was prepared via a combined phase-inversion,sintering and acid etching.The effects of sintering temperature on the crystal structure,surface contact angle,pore size distribution,pore volume and other properties of glass membrane were preliminarily explored.It was found that the rejection of Congo Red dye wastewater of glass membrane was over 95%when sintering temperature was 960?990?.The pure water flux was 5.06?8.0L·m-2·h-1 ·bar-1.Further analysis of experimental data showed that the congo red dye wastewater was separated according to molecular sieve principle.It exhibited enormous potential that the glass membrane was applied in the area of dye wastewater treatment.Finally,the effect of acid leaching time on the crystal structure,boron content,contact angle and other properties of glass membrane were studied.It was found that the glass membrane rejection of methylene blue dye wastewater was over 92%in neutral water environment,and the highest value reached 99%.The pure water flux of glass membrane varied between 1.6?4.7L·m-2·h-1·.bar-1.The experimental data showed that the surface of glass membrane and methylene blue dye had the opposite charge.The glass membrane had good adsorption property for positive dyes.The treatment of methylene blue dye wastewater using glass hollow fiber membrane could be explained by the adsorption-separation mechanism.The experiment results showed that as the average diameter of glass powder was smaller,the asymmetric pore structure was more easily obtained for precursor membrane.When the average diameter of glass powder was 37 ?m,the optimum of calcination temperature was 960? for glass membrane.With the increment of acid etching time,the glass membrane pore size increased.
