CFRP has excellent mechanical properties and is widely used in various fields.However,due to material anisotropy,high hardness,poor thermal conductivity and other characteristics,in the drilling process of CFRP,it is easily caused CFRP to delamination,tear and burr in the hole entrance,tool life reduction and other defects.To solve the above problems,this paper will study the following aspects:First of all,the analysis of the cutting mechanism and defects of CFRP,the possibility of single plate machining hole of carbon fiber composite material is studied.Establish carbon fiber reinforced plastic theoretical model of axial force,to get the relation between axial force and diameter,geometrical angle of the cutter,and the machining parameters in the process of drilling.Establish carbon fiber reinforced plastic theory model of delamination,to get the relation between delamination and axial force,the delamination is proportional to the axial force,it provide the theoretical basis for the optimization of tool structure and hole quality.Then,the feasibility of carbon fiber reinforced plastic and titanium alloy laminated materials processing is validated,compared to the axial force in the process of drilling with different spindle speed and feed rate,during the experiment of drilling between CFRP and CFRP/titanium alloy laminated materials,fitting the date with MATLAB,it is concluded that the axial force on the laminated materials in the process of drilling is smaller than the axial force on carbon fiber reinforced plastic,and the processing quality of hole is higher,under the same spindle speed and feed rate of the processing parameters,so as to verify the feasibility of laminated materials processing.Secondly,-the drilling process of carbon fiber reinforced plastic and titanium alloy laminated materials is simulated with ABAQUS,based on solid subroutine HASHIN principles,by changing tool geometric angles and process parameters,to get the axial force and the stress cloud diagram of the hole's exit and entry.Carry on the drilling experiments,compare the axial force of the experiment,it is concluded that the optimal combination parameter of cutting tools is apex Angle for 100°,spiral Angle is 30°.Finally,the quality problems during the process of the carbon fiber composite materials and titanium alloy laminated materials drilling is studied,analyze delamination defect of the hole after the process of drilling with the ultrasonic C scan,to get the relationship between the delamination and geometry angle of tool,the machining parameters,that there is a positive correlation between delamination and axial force,therefore,the axial force can be used to predict the degree of delamination.
