For a class of Switched reluctance motor based on the principle of working on the least magnetic resistance. It has simple structure, reliable operation, high temperature resistant, wide range speed, large starting torque and high efficiency advantages, which will have a broad application prospect in the electric car driving field.Based on the electric car with Switched reluctance motor as the research object, the main research contents and results are as follows:1.Analysis of basic structure and working principle of the machine.Analysis of the structure characteristics and the factors of the Switched reluctance motor in detailed.Combining the motor mechanical and electrical energy conversion process, the working principle of Switched reluctance motor had been analyzed deeply, and the mathematical analysis model was established.2.Switched reluctance motor electromagnetic design. The paper had designed electromagnetic parameters of the Switched reluctance motor, calculated the main structure parameters, determined the electromagnetic design of the motor, and carried on the check.3.The electromagnetic properties of finite element simulation analysis research.Based on the ANSYS Maxwell, this paper had used the RMxprt module to establish the 2D finite element simulation model, got the transient magnetic field distribution of the motor, analyzed the electromagnetic characteristics.4.3D magnetic thermal coupling simulation analysis.By uniting the Solidworks and the ANSYS Maxwell software, the 3D finite element simulation model was built.By using the ANSYS Workbench, using the motor loss as heat source, the motor temperature field distribution under rated condition was determined.
