In the actual engineering,the soil is often subjected to a cyclic load in a complex stress path.The soil is not only subjected to the vertical load,but also the horizontal load and the radial stress.It will cause the complicated stress in the soil,which will affect the mechanical properties of the soil.The stress path of soil can simulate the actual stress history of soil,and the influence of the stress changes on the mechanical properties of soil is studied,which will solve some problems including the foundation settlement under the long-term traffic circulation and the unstability of the soil under the action of the urban earthquake.So this paper will take the saturated soft clay of Wenzhou area as the object,and research on the static and dynamic characteristics of soil under different stress paths.The main research content of this paper is following:(1)Research on the soft clay of Wenzhou,using the British GDS cyclic confining pressure test system of three axis under different stress paths,the same consolidated and un-drainage experimental,which exploring the stress strain variation characteristics,strength and deformation characteristics of saturated soft clay under the loading of a single stress path and the complex stress path.(2)By the British GDS dynamic triaxial apparatus,through the dynamic test in two-way loading,and using sine wave simulation of seismic wave,which exploring the process of confining pressure and deviatoric strength change,T-strain curve,hysteresis back circle including the backbone of line graph by saturated soft clay of Wenzhou to show the rules.The research shows that the stress path is one of the important factors that affect the dynamic characteristics of saturated soft clay in Wenzhou.(3)The dynamic characteristics of soil under different stress paths are studied,and the effect of stress path on the development law of dynamic modulus of soil is discussed.At the same time,by using the Haridin-Drnevich model and the Stokoe formula to fit the dynamic modulus attenuation law,the Stokoe formula is obtained.(4)Study on the strength and deformation law of Wenzhou saturated soft clay by the GDS TTTS system,the static characteristics of the soil stress-strain,pore pressure-strain,effective stress path,and the main strain and other mechanical properties are discussed.
