Research On Cost Management Of Huancheng West Road Project In Xiamen City

Highway engineering occupies an important position in the construction of highway engineering in our country. And become the source of business and profit source for most engineering construction enterprise. So the management of the engineering project cost is every important for construction enterprise. Due to the nature of the highway engineering project and construction characteristics, the cost control methods, measures and the application effect should always keep pace with times.Based on the theory including construction project cost, construction project cost management, construction project management and innovation. This paper analyzes the problem exists in highway engineering construction project cost management such as deviations in understanding the cost, poor cost control in different stages, cost control with low effectiveness. Meanwhile point out that poor cost management consciousness, cost management mechanism does not keep pace with times, poor cost control execution its main reason.The article make analysing affecting factors and its internal mechanism of project cost before design cost scheme.After cost design ctivity-based costing method applied to Xiamen city ring road reconstruction project, analysis from the unit engineering level, we can see that Road engineering project and Landscaping planting project has good cost control effect besides Temporary pavement structure project. And analysis from cost elements such as People, material, machine and management level, most of them got effective control, but site management funds beyond the target plan. Finally we can conclude through the case analysis, the design scheme for project cost management is effective and feasible, but it can’t ensure that every unit or partial project cost be saved because of the site construction environment.Optimizing the management solution will change the proportion of the original cost, and lower the total cost of construction project through rebalancing the elements of cost.
