Three-phase induction generator is one of most popular equipment of electric power generation. It's a kind of motor which is widely used at present because of it's simple-firm structure, low cost and maintenance convenience, etc. This paper carried out to calculate generator parameters and analyze operating performance by ANSYS finite element method.The desired result from the calculated and analyzed provide theoretical foundation for generator optimization design and multiple scheme comparison. Compared with the traditional analytical formula and the magnetic circuit method, finite element method gives more accurate results because it is based on actual model and material property.The steady-state equivalent circuit parameters of the motor can reflect various characteristics of the motor. It is very important for the design, manufacture, application and maintenance of the motor to get the parameters of steady state equivalent circuit of the motor accurately and effectively. In this paper, the resistance, magnetizing resistance, leakage resistance and other parameters of one three-phase induction generator are analyzed and calculated with all the magnetic circuit method and finite element method. The magnetic energy method is applied to solve the stator and rotor slot leakage resistance, while comparing with the magnetic circuit method, the paper research the influencing factors of stator slot leakage resistance. In the simulation analysis of magnetizing resistance, obtained the relation curve of magnetizing resistance induction electromotive force then verified by tests and curve fitting.The no-load excitation current is an important parameter of three-phase asynchronous motor, is one of the important standards of identification of motor manufacturing and repairing quality. This paper gives a quantitative analysis of the influence factor of three-phase asynchronous motor's excitation current. Striving for the no-load pressure value with different shunt based on the no-load voltage building system of three phase induction generator. At the same time, the correctness of the solution method of the asynchronous generator is verified, and the accuracy of the solution of the stator and rotor parameters and the magnetization curve of the three-phase asynchronous motor is also verified.The work of this paper is of practical value in three-phase induction generator design,analysis and optimization.
