| This paper made in-depth finite element analysis about the connection joints between building walls pillars and co lumns, considering both from a security and economic point of view, gave the most appropriate length of the ferrule under the premise of meeting the design and computing requirements, thereby made the approach of the connecting joints is more reasonable and norms.Firstly, this paper briefly described the domestic and foreign research development process of curtain wall, then introduced the main content.Then analysis finite element theory of contact problem was introduced in detail. The paper described the basic types of contact problem analysis and briefly summary several contact elements and their respective scope and type, and the wizard function modules which is used to create the contact pair were briefly described; introduced some kind of important basic parameters which is used to create contact pair and the contact algorithm, finite element whether to consider the role of friction is also briefly outlined; Then advanced setup options Which controls the convergence of contact analysis are introduced in detail; A brief step about contact elements of surface-surface contact which this article uses was introduced.The paper created a finite element model of the connecting node between ferrule and curtain wall column, made a comparative analysis about stress and displacement between ferrule and column by 6 different column finite element models which the length of the ferrule were different, considering about whether the lengths of ferrule have a greater impact on stress and displacement of the column, thus gave a reasonable ferrule length. Then this paper put forward the optimum ferrule length of the column connecting under the premise of meeting the design requirements. This article also made a comparative analysis about stress and displacement between the finite element column model which has ferrule and the model without ferrule, made an analysis of the influence of the ferrule on the whole column model, and found that the effect is small, thus further verified the conclusions as mentioned before are correct.Finally this paper presented the study conclusions and recommendations according to the main content, then some suggestions about the direction and content of further research under this project are proposed. |
