In this dissertation, the preparation of resin-based artificial stone and Self-luminous artificial stone with stone waste as raw studied. The realated properties of artificial stone prepared with stone waste ware studied by laser particle size distribution test, XRD, SEM, mechanical test, etc., and the related mechanism was analyzed. The conclusions of the dissertation ware summarized as follows:(1)The stone waste, whose moisture was blow 2.5%, could replace quartz sand to prepare resin-based artificial stone. With the increase of the moisture content in stone waste, incompatibility between the resin and water in the waste was remarkable. So the flexural strength of artificial stone decreased. The oil adsorption value of stone waste with below 2.5% moisture content was more than quartz sand. When the resin content kept constant, as the waste substitution amount increased, the flexural strength of artificial stone decreased. When the waste content reached to 75%, the quality problem appeared. And the flexural strength of artificial stone content of stone waste decreased by 28.3%.(2)Adding less than 0.5% styrene in resin could improve the wettability of powder markedly. The flexural strength of artificial stone improved. When the styrene content was 0.5%, and the resin content was 10%, the resin-based artificial stone prepared with stone waste replacing 75% quartz sand has better quality, and its flexural strength increased by 14%. When the resin kept constant, use triethanolamine could increase the flexural strength of artificial stone by 18.2%. It was a good method to recycle stone waste, and resin-based artificial products ware fabricated with the specifications of DB44/T 768-2010.(3)The appropriate content of luminous powder is 20%, which could be used to prepare good quality self-luminous artificial stone. With the content of luminous powder increased the flexural strength of self-luminous artificial stone decreased.(4)When the luminous powder content keep maintain at 20%, the luminous intensity decrease when the stone waste content continued to increase. The luminous intensity only reached 320mcd/m2 when the stone waste replacing 75% quartz.(5)Luminous powder prone to hydrolysis failure in water, gel coat covering on the surface of artificial stone could be a way to prevent moisture penetration to ensuring long-term stability luminescent.(6) The appropriate substitution of stone waste was 20%, the self-luminous artificial stone has good quality when the content of luminous powder ware 20%. With stone waste replacing of 25% quartz, the suitable content of luminous powder was 22%~25%.
