With,the development of electronic science and technology,the photoelectric target gradually replace the traditional copper wire mesh target and aluminum foil target and become the main body of the modern projectile velocity measurement,but considering the smoke near the muzzle more complex environment,the ordinary laser light screen can not work in the muzzle directly,but placed in the latter period,this measured is a velocity from a certain position,which has a certain difference from muzzle velocity.Therefore,it is necessary to find a kind of light source that can overcome the muzzle flame and not fully ignite the powder particles to carry on the real muzzle velocity test,especially provide the basis for the new concept of high-speed weapon launch to correct evaluation of muzzle kinetic energy.Based on the analysis of laser screen,X-ray pulse imaging and continuous X-ray screen,an X-ray screen target system is designed.Using X-ray-sensitive photoelectric detector capture the signal.At the same time,the signals are amplified,filtered and shaped to obtain the region cut-off signal,the threshold parameters are generated by the computer according to the projectile characteristics,and sent these parameters to the FPGA via RS-485.The FPGA judges the pulse signal outputted by the hardware circuit according to the setting of the computer and selects the valid signal according to the threshold setting,passes back the effective signal pulse width and the time position to the upper computer,The resulting effective signal pulse width can be corrected and a more appropriate threshold can be set at the next time.The Labview graphical programming is used to realize the amplification of the detector and the signal acquisition after the FPGA processing.The communication data transmission is completed and the corresponding information obtained by the acquisition is displayed on the screen.Through the relationship between the two signals to calculate the speed of projectile through the two X-ray screens and display on the screen.Through the system debugging and testing,the feasibility of the X-ray velocity measurement system is verified.The system velocity error and velocity measurement are analyzed.
