With rapid development of economy and improvement of people's living standards,there are all kinds of vehicles on the city highway.It makes convenience for people,but it also brings hidden troubles for people's travel at the same time.Traffic accidents occur frequently.In order to prevent traffic accidents,vehicle driving assistance system has already become research hotspot in the field of intelligent transportation at present.Vehicle collision warning system is the most important component among the intelligent transportation system.Meanwhile,under the trend of rapid development of the mobile internet,the smart phone based on Android platform are the most widely used.The smart phone based on Android system integrate camera with high resolution?GPS and acceleration sensor which makes it become the best platform of vehicle driving assistance system.This paper mainly researches the key technologies of vehicle collision warning system based on Android platform,including the technologies of vehicle detectiondistance measurement between two vehicles and collision warning.Concrete research context is as follows:(1)Research and implement vehicle detection algorithm.Pre-process the road images that are collected by camera based on region of interest.Extract features of the shadow at the bottom of vehicles and generate the vehicle region proposal according to those features.(2)Extract Haar-like features of a large number of positive data and negative data of vehicle and train the classification model using AdaBoost algorithm.Extract the Haar-like features of vehicle region proposal and classify it vehicle region proposal using the classification model to verify whether the region proposal is the vehicle region and confirm the location of the vehicles in the image finally.(3)Measure the distance between two vehicles according to the detected vehicle using monocular vision distance measurement method and set a safety distance.When the actual distance between the vehicles is less than the safety distance,the system raises the alarm to alert the driver.Design the experiment to measure the distance.(4)Design and implement the client software of vehicle collision warning system based on Android,including the modules of image acquisition?image preprocessing?vehicle detection?distance measurement and collision warning.Use the camera of the smart phone to collect road images and take preprocesing?vehicle detection and distance measurement between two vehicles based on the collected road images.When the actual distance between the vehicles is less than the safety distance,the smart phone raise the alarm to alert the driver.
