With the continuous development and extensive utilisation of precision guided missiles,real-time detection and tracking of moving target has become an important part in modern warfare.Its authenticity and real-time quality determine the success or failure of the war.Under this background,it is of great practical significance to research on missile borne TV guidance technology and its core target detection and tracking system.Therefore,this article has designed a DSP based target detection and tracking system.First of all,the hardware structure of the target detection and tracking system is designed,including DM642 image processing platform and F2812 rotation control platform.The design,configuration and debugging of each module to realize the moving target detection and tracking of the video image by DM642,DM642 and F2812 to transfer the data through the serial communication protocol,F2812 to realize the real-time control the rotating control platform to drive camera tracking target through output PWM wave form.Secondly,as a photoelectric equipment,missile borne TV seeker is bound to generate a large amount of noise from the collected video image due to the photoelectric conversion,the external environment and the electromagnetic field.According to the principle of all kinds of image noise,this paper studies several commonly used filtering methods,including mean filtering,median filtering,morphological filter and using median filter method in video image preprocessing,in order to achieve the ideal effect.And then,the target detection and tracking process are discussed.The principle and implementation method of the adjacent frame difference algorithm,background subtraction algorithm,meanshift algorithm and other mainstream moving target detection and tracking algorithms are analyzed and discussed.In the target detection algorithm,this paper used the improved symmetrical difference method and the background subtraction method to realize the separation of moving objects and background,and provides the initial search window for the following target tracking;In the target tracking algorithm,this paper used the Camshift algorithm based on the Meanshift algorithm to achieve real-time tracking of moving objects and determine the target location and motion parameters in the image.At last,the semi-physical simulation experiments are carried out in the target detection and tracking system,the experimental results show that the system designed in this paper can realize the real-time tracking of moving object effectively,the system has better real-time and robustness.Lay the foundation for the further research on missile borne TV seeker technology.
