Solar energy as the planet’s most abundant resources,the most extensive use of clean renewable energy,beyond the speed of people’s imagination to develop rapidly.However,the normal use of solar cells,often because of this or that factors affect component performance safety and life,and "hot spot effect" is the most prominent factor.In this paper,the "hot spot effect" phenomenon of solar cells is analyzed and discussed firstly,then the chip-level integration design of the solar battery protection circuit is introduced,and then the chip selected from the oxidation,lithography,metal and other processes to complete the protection circuit chip integrated component preparation,the final completion of the production of components tested and the results of analysis.In this paper,the design of the chip-level integrated circuit components in parallel with the battery.When the battery pack is running,the circuit chip components flow only a small leakage current,basically does not work,and the current is not greater than 20 mA when the voltage clamped at 1.6V,to ensure that the battery will not short circuit.When the battery pack is damaged,it automatically opens to provide bypass for the battery pack.So that the entire powers supply circuit uninterruptible powers supply.Chip-level integrated circuit components to protect solar cells,easy to use,has a high value.
