One of the biggest obstacles to ground combat operations and post-war rehabilitation is the existence of mines.The commonly used detection equipment should have close contact with the mines,will cause harm to detectors,so the anynlys of the remote detection equipment is extremely necessary.Based on the particularity of remote minefield detection,a remote detection system that can be set up in the vehicle was designed in this thesis.Including multi-spectral imaging technology,combining with visible light image and infrared image acquisition,real-time display control,identifying the target and displaying the coordinate by image processing,this system has high practical value.Firstly,based on analyzing the spectral characteristics of the targets and the environment detected,visible,near infrared and infrared images were selected for multi-spectrul imaging and to determine the theoretical model.Then according to the overall program requirements,hardware and software modules were designed.The hardware of system included imaging module,power management module and image recognition processing module.In the system software design,the image fusion algorithm and the pattern recognition algorithm were researched to provide evidence for image fusion and recognition algorithm,then a system coordinate calculation algorithm were designed.Secondly,the multi-spectral remote minefield detection system prototype was set up.In order to realize the accurate alignment of the optical system in the hardware platform,the multi-optical axis correction technology was deeply researched,and the alignment method of the optical axis parallelism was determined to acquire the infrared images and the visible light images.Based on the hardware platform,the software program was designed to realize the image fusion,object recognition and coordinate calculation.Finally,field experiments were tested by using the prototype.The experimental results showed that the system can realize the acquisition and decision fusion of infrared images and visible light images,and it can identify targets in images effectively and display targets'coordinate.
