Multi-blade centrifugal fan is a type of centrifugal fan,and it's a blade fan.Multi-blade centrifugal fan has the features of large impeller radius ratio,large relative width and has plenty of blade number.With its high flow coefficient,high pressure coefficient,small size and low noise,Multi-blade centrifugal fan has been widely used for air-conditional systems and ventilation because of It's high flow coefficient.And Multi-blade centrifugal fan guarantees a large number of the market.Traditional fan design is basing on lots of experiment,it costs a big amount of money and takes a long period of time.As the fan market changes rapidly,traditional fan design can't match the needs of the needs of high-performance modern fans.So numerical simulation became one of the most important way to analyze multi-blade centrifugal fan.In this paper,the experiment of a multi-blade centrifugal fan is carried out,and the model of the fan is calculated.Compared with the experimental results,the applicability of the model is verified.Based on this result,the Fluent can be used to analyze the internal flow field analysis,a comprehensive analysis of the model fan at the work point when the internal pressure and velocity distribution of the various sections.The surface of the fan is complicated,and the structural parameters of the fan,volute and impeller of the fan have influence on the flow path of the fan.It is also analyzed that it is located in the pressure analysis of the radial surface and meridional surface of the attachment of the working point and the flow field in the volute part of the volute part.It is found that the unreasonable volute design will lead to the return flow,thus affecting the overall performance of the fan.In this paper,a model multi-blade centrifugal fan is improved by combining experiment and numerical simulation,and the efficiency of the model is improved by optimal designs.In this paper,based on the RNG k-? model,the pressure,efficiency and flow performance of a multi-blade centrifugal fan with different spiral case and blade mounting angle are numerically simulated.With the analysis of the multi-blade centrifugal fan,we discover those fan problems.On the basis of the analysis,the improvement scheme is proposed and simulated.Through the experimental measurement,the validity of the calculation model and the numerical calculation method and the accuracy of the simulation are verified.Finally,by changing the spiral case and impeller exit angle of the multi-blade centrifugal fan,the problem of low efficiency and low wind pressure is solved,which provides a reference for the optimal design of this kind of fan.
