The power load parameter monitoring and forecasting is an important compontent of the power companies in operating,scheduling safely,and the work of electric departments.The accurate level of the power load parameter monitoring and forecasting is an important indicator to measure the degree of development of modern power.Improving the accurate level of the power load parameters monitoring and forecasting is in favor of the safe usage of electricity,and improving the economic and social benefits of the power system.Using computer technology to monitor and predict the power load parameters,as one of the modern power system management tools,can effectively improve the safe operation of power grid enterprises and economic and social benefits.The paper focuses on designing the power load parameter monitoring and forecasting system,and using BP neural network to illustrate the short-term consumption forecast of some areas of Jiamusi area.In the paper,the basic principle of electric energy measurement and features of different measuring methods are illustrated;the design of the online test data acquisition systems,including hardware and software,is introduced;the characteristics of measurement module chip ADE7878 and ARM920 T,the core hardware,are researched and analysed;the measurement circuit of the power parameters,such as current,voltage,power,frequency and phase parameters,is designed;the precise measurement and overload alarm of the power line is achieved;and on this basis,the transplant of embedded real-time operating system and the design of measurement software and communication software are achieved.The paper also introduces the concepts of load forecasting,studys and analyses the characteristics of the load and the principles of load forecasting,focuses on analysis of the BP neural network forecasting algorithm and improved methods,and targeted analysis of load characteristics of Jiamusi area.Finally,short-term load forecasting procedures about Jiamusi area are writed.The power load parameter monitoring and forecasting system collects and processes data by ARM embedded systems and measurement chip.The powerparameters through statistical processing transfer to a computer.Then the power load forecasting system software of the upper computer predicts short-term electricity consumption.The system achieves the power quality monitoring of the power system and electric consumption prediction about the area.The system is very important for the safe and economic operation of the power system.
