| With the increasing urban population in China,the number of vehicle continues to grow,which led to more suevere urban traffic congestion problems,and the vehicle delay,traffic disorder and frequent traffic accidents caused by roundaout has been a normalized problem.Thus,how to take effective measures to relieve the intersection traffic congestion phenomenon has become a hot issue in today’s traffic control research.Firstly,the concept of intersection group and its characteristics are defined and introduced,the basic parameters of intersection group signal coordination control(public cycle,split,effective green time,phase difference,queue rate as well as the correlation),and the performance index(average vehicle parking number,average vehicle delay as well as the average queue length)are analyzed.The problems existing in the roundaout under intersection group are summarized and analyzed.Secondly,the connotation and common types of intersection group are analyzed,based on the priority principles of road,short wired preference and roundaout respectively,trunk control the intersection of group division method is put forward,to preliminarily classify the control area,and identify the bottleneck area with the basis,calculate the correlation between adjacent intersections,then puts forward the new group division method based on the correlation between adjacent intersections for further division.then,coordinated control strategies of intersection group is proposed based on virtual signal control principle,coordinated control paths are determined by calculating correlation degree under virtual signal control.Based on road green wave coordinate control principle,by determining the public cycle,split and calculating delay time,optimizating green ratio and the main phase green times,the phase difference model of intersection group that roundaout participates is established.Finally,using VISSIM micro-traffic simulation software,taking the road network as an example,whitch composed of Zhujiangyuan Avenue,Jianning East and Jianning West Road in Qujing City,Yunnan Province.Obtain the evaluation index including the average number of parking times,the average delay time and the average queue length.Using cross-group division and virtual signal control roundabout as variables respectively.Compare with the actual situation,simulations were taken with the running state of the intersection group in different environments.The results show that intersection group segmentation with cross-port grouping based on correlation degree of adjacent intersections is superior to trunk crossing control,The average delay time and the average number of vehicles in the two modes are 12.8%,21.4%and 12.1%and 19.6%respectively.In the virtual signal control state,the operating efficiency of the intersection group is better than the current control,and the average delay time of all vehicles is reduced from 29.19 seconds to 22.93 seconds,drawing a decrease of 21.4%.In addition,the average length of queuing decreased from 30.64 meters to 25.94 meters,drawing a decrease of 15.3%. |
