Intelligent power consumption is one of the most important parts of the smart grid, which plays an important role in solving environmental pollution, resource shortage and other issues. Household intelligent power management system is the extension of intelligent power consumption in the user side. This dissertation studies the household electricity management system in the intelligent electricity environment,adjusting the use of household appliances reasonably by the optimization control strategy, so as to achieve the purpose of saving energy, to reduce the cost of electricity consumption and to reduce and transfer load.At present, most of the residents use the TOU pricing method, thus this dissertation first proposes the optimization strategy of household electrical equipment based on TOU price, which aims to reduce the cost of electricity consumption while satisfying the user's comfort, and uses the artificial bee colony-genetic algorithm to solve the optimization model. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the optimization strategy.There are some defects in the charging mode of TOU price, which may cause the phenomenon of peak and valley inversions. However, the real-time price which can reflect the change of supply and demand is the development trend of the future power grid. Thus this dissertation also proposes a general optimization strategy of home intelligent power consumption based on real-time price, which can achieve the goal of reducing the cost of electricity consumption under the premise of meeting the customer satisfaction requirements. The optimization strategy avoids the formation of a new peak in the lowest price range. The dissertation verifies the effectiveness of the optimization strategy by the simulation of a single user and multi-user.Finally, in order to realize the optimization strategy of home intelligent power consumption proposed in the dissertation, this dissertation designs the overall architecture, functional architecture and network architecture of the home intelligent power management system, including the design for the power terminal hardware architecture of the system, the software architecture of the system and the man-machine interface of the power monitoring terminal, realizing the function of electricity price inquiry, electricity inquiry, parameter setting, remote control, power strategy management, security setting and so on.
