The power supply and distributing testing system is an indispensable component of the satellite EGSE. It is also an important guarantee for the power supply and distributing system to function well for the satellite. The performance of the power system has a direct influence on the security and lifespan of the satellite. Therefore, in all phases of satellite development, supply and distribution systems must be rigorously tested.The thesis is written to meet the requirement of a type of high-efficiency, reliable and scalable measurement and control system for the satellite power unit during ground testing. A design based on Ethernet is put forward aimed to develop intellect, generalized, compact and networked testing equipment. After detailed analysis for the operating principles and systematic functions of the satellite power system according to the overall scheme. Modularized designing methods is taken after an explicit understanding of the power system's structural composition as well as expected functions and indexes. Thus complete the development and testing process of the measurement and control equipment.The measurement and control equipment consists of software and hardware. The system hardware is made of SCOE, self-made conditioning circuit, Ethernet data acquisition card, and a PC. The software design adopts the graphic language in the LabVIEW and the modularized designing methods to realize the control of the whole satellite, to control the power?s on-off through an umbilical connector, to monitor and record the performance and measuring of the important parameters. The measurement and control equipment employs an Ethernet bus to have the network facilities connected and controlled under the dominate computer. Take the Ethernet collecting module of the data acquisition unit as an example to design the drivers for network facilities. Hence the real-time data sending and receiving can be exactly realized. Finally, the comprehensive test is carried out for the hardware together with the software and the error analysis will also be given. The test results indicate that the system function as well as the reliability of indexes coincide with the relevant regulations and the requirement of the development assignment.
