Research On The Overall Design Of Diesel Engine Timing Chain System

Valve train plays a very important part in the engine.In general,the requirements of the valve is to get as much air as possible and to exhaust gas as much as it can.Thus,the valve train can effectively improve the efficiency of the engine.In this paper,the composition and structure of valve train and valve timing system are expounded.The factors that affect the wear of timing chain system and the causes of wear are analyzed.The potential effect of timing chain wear on valve timing is studied.The time lag ? caused by wear is quantified,and the influence of ? on the engine reliability and performance is described.The timing system and key components of a four-cylinder diesel engine are optimized.The friction and the force optimization of the timing chain system are studied.
