Situational Theater Space Design Research

In view of the growing cultural and artistic theater projects all over the world,this article selected the most typical and breakthrough theater space case at present build in China,which focus on the situational experience in the performance space as the design clue.And summarized the experience way of the shows for three modes,as the theme park performance,interior real-life scenery performance and outdoor real-life scenery performance.In this paper,the spatial form of each situation partition module and its size parameter relationship are analyzed in detail in the modular and unitary spatial thinking logic.The viewing relationship,area ratio,path segmentation,sight line scheduling,time rhythm,the number of batches and a series of relationship problems are the most important subjects.In the later section,the paper summarizes the design philosophy for the situational theater space,the underlying logic and space law.Finally,the study of Yuntai Mountain situational space theater design project had transformed the research results into the practical application.
