Calculation Of Irrigation Water Utilization Coefficient And Analysis Of Total Agricultural Water Use In Hetao Irrigation District

This research chose Hetao Irrigation District as the study area,and the irrigation water utilization coefficient as the research object,the current year(2014)irrigation water utilization coefficient was calculated by using water balance method and end-to-end measurement,and its influencing factors were analyzed preliminarily.The irrigation water utilization coefficient of the planning year was calculated and the effects of water-saving measures on agricultural water use amount in Hetao Irrigation Distract was analyzed according to the planned water-saving remold scheme.The main research results as follows:(1)Based on the water balance method and end-to-end measurement,the current year(2014)irrigation water utilization coefficient of Yigan,Jiefangzha,Yongji,Yichang,Wulate irrigation area in Hetao Irrigation Distract was calculated as 0.394,0.417,0.456,0.339,0.305,respectively.The overall irrigation water utilization coefficient of Hetao Irrigation District were 0.384 and 0.382 for water amount weighted and area weighted,respectively.(2)According to the canal lining project of?water resources planning report of Bayan Nur?,supposed to lining all the main canal,sub-main canal and branch canal,as well as partial lateral canal and field canal,in which the mineralization degree of the groundwater was more than 3g/l.Based on above canal lining scheme,the estimated canal system water utilization coefficient in Hetao Irrigation Distract were 0.580 for the recent planning year(2020)and 0.644 for the long-term planning year(2030),respectively.Combining the measures to improve field water utilization coefficient for the following planning years,the field water utilization coefficient in Hetao Irrigation Distract were calculated to be 0.840 for the recent planning year(2020)and 0.855 for the long-term planning year(2030),respectively.(3)There is a "Red Line Target" of total agricultural water use amount in Hetao Irrigation District,that is the total agricultural water use amount in Hetao Irrigation District have to reduce to 4.3 billion stere for the recent planning year(2020)and 4.0 billion stere for the long-term planning year(2030),respectively.In order to reach this target,we analyzed the efficiency of water-saving measures on agricultural water use amount according to the water-saving remold scheme in Hetao Irrigation District,the estimated results showed that the irrigation water utilization coefficient have to over 0.487 and 0.550 for the recent planning year and long-term planning year,respectively.
