In this paper, the residual analysis method of chlorantraniliprole in rice was established by exploring the pretreatment methods and chromatographic conditions of rice samples. The degradation dynamics and final residue of chlorantraniliprole on rice were studied, which provided the theoretical basis for the safe use and residual detection of chlorantraniliprole in rice. The paddy field water samples were added to 10 mL of Na Cl saturated solution and extracted directly with ethyl acetate.Brown rice and rice husk samples were extracted with acetonitrile.Paddy soil and rice plant samples were extracted with acetonitrile vortex.Paddy field water, paddy soil, plant and brown rice were detected by ultra-performance liquid chromatography(UPLC-PDA),the rice husk was detected by ultra-performance liquid chromatography high resolution mass spectrometry(UPLC-HRMS).The results showed that the concentration of paddy field water was 0.025~2.500 mg/L,the concentration of paddy soil and brown rice was 0.050~5.000 mg/kg,the concentration of rice plant was 0.200~10.000 mg/kg,the concentration of rice husk was 0.050~2.500 mg/kg,The average recoveries of chlorantraniliprole were 83.19%~103.01% and the relative standard deviations(RSD)were 1.73%~7.21%.The method is suitable for the accurate determination of the content of chlorantraniliprole in rice matrix. The residue trials of chlorantraniliprole(0.01%,GR)on rice were studied in Guizhou,Tianjin and Heilongjiang in 2015 and 2016,respectively.The residues of chlorantraniliprole in paddy field water, paddy soil, rice plant, rice husk and brown rice were detected. The results showed that the dosage of 60 g a.i/ha was applied once, and the residues of chlorantraniliprole in brown rice was <0.050 mg/kg at the harvest time(below the maximum residue limit(MRL)0.5 mg/kg specified in GB2763-2014 of China). Therefore,it is safe to use the chlorantraniliprole(0.01%,GR)on rice according to the recommended dosage and application times. The residue trials of chlorantraniliprole(5%,UL)on rice were studied in Guizhou,Tianjin and Heilongjiang in 2015 and 2016,respectively.The residues of chlorantraniliprole in paddy field water, paddy soil, rice plant, rice husk and brown rice were detected. The results showed that the dosage of 30 g a.i/ha was applied twice,20 days intervals, the residues of chlorantraniliprole in brown rice was <0.050~0.106 mg/kg at the last application for 10 days(below the maximum residue limit(MRL)0.5 mg/kg specified in GB2763-2014 of China). Therefore,it is safe to use the chlorantraniliprole(5%,UL)on rice according to the recommended dosage and application times. In addition, this paper first discusses the absorption and transmission characteristics of chlorantraniliprole in rice plants. The results showed chlorantraniliprole has outstanding upward transmission properties in rice plants, and could be quickly absorbed by the roots of rice plants and transferred to the leaves and stems.
