Objective A prospective study deltoid tuberosity of the humerus 128 slice CT image processing including Multi-planar Reconstruction(MPR) and Volume Rendering length(VR) image, cortical thickness change?To be familiar with the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus anatomy study humerus deltoid tuberosity of the CT performance, To improve imaging diagnosis rate of correct diagnosis, to avoid misdiagnosis.Definition Deltoid tuberosity of the humerus deltoid muscle is attached at the humerus,It is a rough surface, in the middle of the outer side of the humerus. Deltoid outer segment starting from clavicle, shoulder and scapular muscle bundle from the front cover and the outer shoulder measured on three sides, and bottom outward focus, beyond the outer body of the humerus deltoid tuberosity.Materials and Methods February 2014- between March 2015 to our hospital radiology examination of adults aged 18 or above normal chest CT three-dimensional reconstruction data by MPR and VR reconstruction, measuring the length of the humerus deltoid tuberosity, contrast deltoid tuberosity of the humerus length and about gender differences; imaging findings observed deltoid tuberosity of the humerus, and the specific characteristics of the image, the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus total imaging performance classification, comparison of different types of deltoid tuberosity of the humerus constitution.Result A total 204 cases of adult patients, 124 males, 80 female, a total of 408 cases of bilateral humerus, the age distribution of 18-68 years, mean age 38 years. Adult male deltoid tuberosity of the humerus length(59.02 ± 3.89) mm, adult women deltoid tuberosity of the humerus length(52.81 ± 2.45) mm, two groups of men and women between the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus length significantly different(P <0.05); left side deltoid tuberosity of the humerus length(57.12 ± 3.12) mm, on the right deltoid tuberosity of the humerus length(56.31 ± 3.02) mm, no significant difference(p> 0.05) about the length of the humerus deltoid.Conclusion Deltoid tuberosity of the humerus relatively fixed position, there are gender differences in the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus length, no significant difference between left and right; imaging with a slight bulge type, more common in rough shape,the raised type is less common, humerus deltoid tuberosity CT findings and diagnostic features can provide a basis for clinical imaging diagnosis.
