Evaluation Of Clinical Efficacy Of Qiqiangxin Capsule Loading In The Treatment Of Chronic Heart Failure

Objective: To evaluate the clinical therapeutic effects of Qiliqiangxin capsule combine with standard treatments in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods: One hundred and twelve patients with CHF were randomly divided into two groups.Both were given routine western medicines, for example, diuretics,vasodilators, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors(ACEI), and β-receptor blockers.Besides these, Qiliqiangxin capsules were added to the test group(n=55)received while the control group(n=57) received placebo additionally.The follow up time was 24 weeks.These indicators were compared between the two groups after the treatment:the Chinese medicine syndrome scoring,cardiac function classification,walking distance within 6 minutes.Also,the plasma level of BNP,the recurrence rate,mortality rate and adverse reactions were observed in both of the two groups.Results: Better therapeutic effects were found in the test group than that in the control group(P<0.05).These indicators were improved significantly in test group than the that in the control group(P<0.05),such as Chinese medicine syndrome scoring,cardiac function classification,walking distance within 6 minute and the plasma level descending of BNP.However,no significant differences were found between the two groups of the recurrence rate and mortality rate(P<0.05).Conclusion: Qiliqiangxin capsule has positive effects for patients with CHF.Better theraperutic effects will be shown by adding Qiliqiangxin capsule to the routine western medicines.Therefore,adding Qiliqiangxin capsules to the routine western medicines may be considerd in the treatment of CHF.
